Top Tips

Here are some top tips to ensure your pizzas are rocking!

Room temperature is best.

For best results, bring the dough to room temperature before using it. Keep the dough covered when doing so – you can simply leave it in the container it came in, with the lid on.

Heat

We like things hot! Preheating grills, ovens and pans is vital for getting perfect pizza results.

Super semolina

This is our flour of choice when it comes to dusting surfaces. It gives pizza bases a bit more of a crispy crust on the outside.

Saving dough for later

The dough balls are fermented for 24 hours to get them just right before we bring them to you. If you can, for some strange reason, wait to make your pizza, our dough can stay in the fridge for up to 2 days or can be frozen – just make sure it's thoroughly defrosted before using. But remember, nothing beats fresh dough! The dough should be always used at room temperature.

Rolling deep

It can be tricky to nail the art of shaping pizza by hand, so don't worry about cheating and using a rolling pin. Anyway, pizza tastes delicious no matter what shape it is!

Passata

We realise you don't always have time to make fresh pizza sauce, but the most important thing is to be in the kitchen, cooking great, tasty food. Use passata for a quick easy fix!

Go easy on top

It's easy to get over-excited, it's pizza afterall! But try not dump too much sauce and toppings onto your base – otherwise it gets harder for the dough to cook through.
